Sam Ferrante is an editor, content creator, and poet born on Long Island, college-fed in Western New York and Paris, and then poetically raised in Buffalo, NY, Ireland, and Australia. As a result, Sam possesses a unique skillset: an international perspective, creative insight, and a focus on producing results that meet the specific needs of both the client and the target audience.
Most days, Sam is a strategic communications specialist with expertise in strategy-driven copywriting, fundraising and events management, and social media campaign development and execution. She has managed a diverse international client portfolio servicing a number of accounts across the nonprofit, arts, education, hospitality, and technology sectors.
Most nights, Sam is a community-driven poet. She was a Creative Producer at Melbourne-based Slamalamadingdong in addition to serving as a Melbourne Spoken Word Board Member, where she helped to found the MSW Poetry Workshop. Currently based in Indianapolis, Sam regularly runs workshops focused on empowering poets and writers to tell their own stories by leaning into craft.
